The
Scottish Music Hall Society, grew out of "The Sir Harry Lauder,
Society,
Which
was founded in Sir Harry's birthplace, Portobello, in 1979. It exists to
Bring
together people who are interested in that most vibrant of art forms,
popular
Live theatre. Membership includes performers, past and present,
theatre
historians,
Journalists
and above all, the theatre going public who filled the seats in the
Empires,
Palaces,
Palladiums etc all over the country. Our members come from all parts of
the
British
Isles and also from Canada and the U.S.A. Contact is maintained via our
newsletter which is published 4 times a year in Winter, Spring, Summer
and Autumn.
Membership
runs from October and cost 10 pounds for UK members and 12 pounds
For
those from overseas.

cashing
a personal check from a foreign bank is approx. $10.00 which would need
to be added to registration fee)
